Dr. Lisa Schirch is Director of Human Security at the Alliance for Peacebuilding and a Research Professor at Eastern Mennonite University’s Center for Justice & Peacebuilding. Schirch works to support human security, including ending sexual and gender-based violence. Her books and other publications focus on how to build peace and prevent violence in a wide range of contexts. Her daily work involves teaching peacebuilding to the US military.
